Checking In
Engagement, holiday festivities, a trip to LA, and what's to come
Hi! Okay, I’m already rolling my eyes at myself as I say this again BUT…it’s been a minute since I’ve been on here (boring, heard this before) and honestly it’s starting to annoy me how much I say that, so I’m guessing it’s annoying you too lol.
This fall was truly bananas. Between the move, beginning the process of furnishing our space, busy season in both of my jobs, and just life…it was a lot! I would say I rarely admit it but your girl is tired. With all of that, it was really hard to find the time to be on here and that bums me out. It bums me out because I care, I care a whole lot, maybe even a little too much at times. I love being on here, I love to write, always have. I enjoy the way that my voice can bring my imagery to life and I find that I actually say what I want to say on here, without overthinking so much. Also love how I can connect with you all in a longer format, creative, and substantial way, more than other platforms sometimes allow. Ya feel me?
Anyways - let’s catch up a bit! For starters…we’re engaged (but you know that) and we are over the moon. It’s only been two weeks since our engagement weekend, but of course in CLB fashion it somehow feels like I’ve lived a million lives since that special moment. Between holiday parties and events, hosting an event with Dôen, birthday celebrations for close friends and traveling to LA, it’s safe to say I’m ready to relax a bit, enjoy the slow moments with my family and friends, and lean into the very beginning of wedding planning and this special time in Dom and I’s life.
Getting to share this new chapter with you all brings me so much joy and I feel incredibly lucky to have you all here with me. Thank you, truly, for all of the love. We feel it so deeply.
Our Engagement
November 28th, 2025 - A day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. It was perfect and so us. Surrounded by the beauty of Northern California. Very intimate and private. Tears all over!!!

What I Wore
If you are into the sweater, but not the price, consider this from Buck Mason or this from La Ligne. The denim are fab. I have never put on a pair of jeans that fit so well. Worth every penny IMO.

I love how we have these perfectly imperfect film photos that we will cherish for forever. We spent the remainder of the weekend celebrating with family, the two of us, lots of Facetime calls to our besties, laying by the fire in our room at Auberge du Soleil, spa time, cozy dinners, wine on the terrace, and logging off. Wanted to be as present as possible. Was just perfect in every way shape and form!!!!!
Back to the office
And as you do, back to the office we went and right into the busyness of finishing out the year. I literally cannot believe that Christmas is next week. WTF! For obvious reasons, my head has been a bit in the clouds this December and I sort of opted out of all of my typical holiday tasks…but there is still time! December is one of my favorite months of the year and I’m hoping to go into full CLB elf mode this Saturday. She’s making a list…and checking it twice!
I did find myself on the move quite a bit the last two weeks after typical work hours. From my company holiday party to brand events, my besties birthday dinner, a night out with friends, and some hangovers in between…I’m having a good ass time! It has been so fun to celebrate and relish in the newness of this chapter.
An outfit that I found myself out on the town in and loved:

Signs of Christmas in San Francisco
A very pinch me moment
I hosted an event with Dôen at the Marin Country Mart! Not only did I host an event with one of my favorite brands of all time, but I got to do this in my home, where I grew up, and where I have frequented for years, dreaming up something like this to happen. A very kismet moment for me. I rarely sort of stop and “smell the roses” and this was one of those times that I did. I feel really proud of myself and all of the hard work that I have put in this year. It was so special! Thank you Dôen team for your trust and collaboration throughout this year, I love you all to pieces.
A huge thank you to everyone who visited from near and far. I feel so grateful for the community that I am beginning to build here and I can’t wait for what is to come.

LA for a minute
This trip was planned around a photoshoot for my socials, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect because I was able to squeeze in a few little moments too! As wonderful as it was, it was also hard leaving Dom after such a special time together, and being back in LA for the first time since moving brought up a wave of emotions that I’m honestly not sure I was fully prepared for.
2025 was one hell of a year. So much growth, change, and clarity. I couldn’t be happier with where I am now!
I attended a Summer Fridays x GAP event, had a really successful shoot (can’t wait to show you), popped into a few stores, and truly just let myself rest a bit. In bed before 9:00pm, hotel robe on (elite), phone on do not disturb.
Looking forward to popping into LA more often in 2026 and experiencing the city in a whole new way!

So, what’s next?
Honestly what isn’t next?! 2026 is about to be a wild year. Wedding planning, a U.S. tour for many of our bestest friends weddings, dialing in our home, and many goals both professional and personal. I got a lot of work to do!
Looking forward to:
Our couch is arriving today! Going to film this weekend and share with you.
Next week I’m celebrating with my high school girlfriends! I am the only one who lives in SF, all of them are now on East Coast or in Southern California. Can’t wait to get together.
Christmas celebrations and a little getaway to Carmel.
My birthday next month - 27!
Planning our engagement party for February in San Francisco.
Life feels extra sweet. What a fucking year. Grateful for it all!!
