At last I present to you Lessons in Gifting for the women in your life that just get it. Whether you are here for inspiration, to browse for yourself, or to just look at pretty things, I hope this gift guide brings you joy and excitement for the merriest days ahead.
I absolutely love gift giving and I think that it has to be one of my strengths in this life. Any excuse to make someone feel extra special is my jam. I am including three edits below; timeless gifts that she’ll love, for the host & homebody, and best of beauty. Guaranteed to find something in here that your mom, sister, bestie, aunt, cousin, grandma, MIL, boss, neighbor, pilates instructor or even yourself will love, because let’s be real we all deserve to treat ourselves too. Happy Holidays!
Timeless gifts she’ll love
Pieces that she will reach for time and time again in every season.

Gift the gift of a white tee. Reliable, timeless, and a classic. ShopRLT, LESET, or Flore Flore World.
I mean who doesn’t love Chanel? Jamie Haller loafers are a gem. ASICS are a goodie for looking chic while running errands.
Let’s talk bags. We all know I love my Madewell Essential and Dragon Diffusion. This cutie Ralph Lauren tote crossed my desk and I couldn’t resist.
The gift that keeps on giving. Levi’s 501 90s.
In the jewelry box: Dorsey earrings (my everyday). Currently on my wishlist: Real Fine Studio signet ring.
Loving my J. Crew cashmere wrap, socks, and pajamas.
There is nothing that I love more than DÔEN. The gift wrapping is everything and more this year too.
Love this Sporty & Rich set.
Adore this Audrey Hepburn print of her on set.
For the host & homebody
My favorite category to gift for.

Flamingo Estate gift box. I’m particularly fond of this one. The yummiest tomato scented candle now comes with personalization. Fancy olives. French butter (this one is my favorite). Mild addictions chocolate. Sophie James Wine.
You all know I love All Time and have frequented there many times this year. Maison Plage has a lovely selection of books to choose from. I particularly fancy this one. Absolutely can’t go wrong with a small delight. I’m eyeing this paint palette, Hudson Grace merci matchbooks and candle, Nickey Kehoe candle stick holders, this one or this one, hand painted candlesticks, Nickey Kehoe silver teapot, and Lazy Jamie spoons.
Including this darling dove wrapping paper here.
Elsie Green french plates and apron.
Jenni Kayne slippers that I wear every day. CODE CAITLINB15 for 15% off.
A gift card to her favorite local butcher or specialty food and crafts market. If you are local in LA MCCALL’S Meat & Fish Co. is my go-to.
I adore Stephanie Dawn Matthia’s work and feel so grateful to have collected pieces from her over this past year. Always a treat. Adore this dish.
Jaymes Paper Co. makes beautiful bespoke custom stationery. I think this would make a wonderful gift. So glad I got to meet Jaymee a few weeks back at the Marché Collective!
Best of Beauty
I love the idea of gifting your bestie a chic cosmetic bag stuffed with her favorite products. For me, gift giving is always about the presentation, the way that you make that special someone feel when they are opening the gift. Down to the ribbon, wrapping paper, and the card. Here are a few of my favorites in the beauty category from this past year that I think would make great gifts.

Saie Beauty dew blush remains a 2024 favorite. Can’t go wrong with a Diptyque solid perfume. This would make for a great stocking stuffer. Chanel Beauty glow stick is a goodie. I recently started using the Skin by Ella eyebrow gel and I love it. My favorite body butter from Goop.
Products that I reach for time and time again that would make for a thoughtful gift: the Crown Affair towel (extra points if you get it monogrammed), Westman mascara, Liis perfume (my signature scent of 2024), Marvis toothpaste because brushing your teeth can be chic too, YSE eye patches (thank me later, come ice cold), and the Furtuna Skin lip polish.
There is nothing that I love more than a chic trinket. Consider these: Match tray, toothbrush cup, natural bristle toothbrush, personalized lip balm, Undo hair clip, Sophie Buhai, and a very nice brush form Mason Pearson.
I own and adore my Cuyana bags in cherry red (can add initials). Also love this bag from Abbode for a timeless look.
Don’t overcomplicate it
Give the gift of time. Maybe this is a day spent together doing an activity that you both love.
Make her a vision board that she can put up in her room.
A class pack to her favorite workout class.
A spa service.
A cooking class, tickets to a play, or a hotel stay.
Get her measurements and find her a pair of vintage Levi’s on Ebay or ShopRLT.
Take her out to a ladies lunch.
Go have a picnic.
A coupon book. I actually gift this to my dad every year in his stocking. It’s essentially coupons that you handwrite and whomever can tear them off and select which one they want to choose for whichever day. Examples include: “Going on a hike together” or “Getting our nails done.” Simple but very meaningful!
Give the gift of her favorite magazine from her birth year. Maybe its Vogue or AD.
Holidays at the CLB Chateau
I spent this past weekend adding a little bit of holiday to my home. I love a subtle nod to Christmas. I leaned on florals, one strand of garland that I grabbed from Trader Joes, red bows, and the little treasures around my home that I love most.

I hope you enjoyed this years gift guide! I’m always here for specific requests or shopping needs as well. Send me a DM! Thank you for your continued support over this past year on here. I’m so excited to share more in 2025. Happy Holidays!
With love,
CLB
